About H.G. Holdam Insurance & Tax Accounting

H.G. Holdam Insurance & Tax Accounting was born when Heidi Holdam opened an independent agency specializing in insurance, accounting and tax services for Florida businesses in 1991. As a lifelong resident of Lake Worth, Florida, Heidi understands the challenges that local residents face and it is her goal to help business owners understand and streamline their commercial insurance and accounting practices.

After growing the agency to nearly 10 employees and adding a new addition of their own by 2001, Heidi’s husband Craig left his successful sales job to go back to school, earn his license and join her at H.G. Holdam. The family business has since grown to nearly 15 employees with Heidi and Craig leading the dedicated Florida staff.

When asked how it is working with her husband, Heidi replied in jest, “Our family has grown stronger, but we definitely keep separate offices.”

One story that sums up the H.G. Holdam experience involves the owner of a painting company who came to Heidi with separate vendors for payroll, commercial auto insurance, workers compensation insurance and tax filing services. The Florida business owner saved over $30,000 in a single year by combining everything together under H.G Holdam and has since doubled in size.
